My belief in the power of developing even a modest in-house telemarketing department is unshakeable.  I have made it work too many times just too well not to recognize the many versatile applications of the methodologies utilized.  From small SOHO businesses, to professional practices and multi-national corporations, I have witnessed so many success stories because of the legitimate and careful application of telemarketing techniques that it is nothing les than astounding.  In many of these situations, I was intrinsically involved in the development or immediate enhancement of the client's telemarketing department, so I've developed a pretty good feel for the way the techniques of legitimate telemarketing can be applied across a variety of business models.  

If you have never used telemarketing for your business model, consider the impact it can have on your activities even if it increases your net revenues only 10% to 15%?  In many cases, the increase is far more dramatic that, enough so that I've seen many businesses switch to a telemarketing only mode of promotion and sales after thorough testing and development.
